What is a Web Host and are fees required?

Once your domain name has been purchased you need to have a place to upload your website files. A web host company will store your uploaded files and this will allow your site to be viewed on the Internet. What is a Search Engine?

Search Engines are the database where your website will be indexed on the internet. It takes about two weeks to a month for the crawler to come around and index your site. Does my website have to be Indexed before I can view it on the internet?

No. All you have to do is type in the domain name (www.yourcompany.com) in the address bar at the top of the screen and you will be able to view your website.
